Dr. Shelley Dolan, Chief Nurse at The Royal Marsden will be giving a Breakfast Briefing on Tuesday 4 November at 8:30am in Committee Room 2, Kensington town hall on “Keeping quality at the front and centre of everything we do”. The briefing will last 40 minutes.
The ASC&H Scrutiny Committee is hosting this Breakfast Briefing but all RBKC Councillors are invited.
The Chairman (Cllr Freeman) writes; “A number of members of the Scrutiny Committee have asked for some additional training, particularly in the area of healthcare monitoring, where there is inevitably a lot of jargon. They have been very fortunate in persuading Doctor Shelley Dolan to come to talk them about how performance and ‘listening to patients’ is carried out at the Royal Marsden. The Marsden is the leading specialist cancer hospital in the country and maintains quality is a way of life for the Trust. Doctor Dolan is the chief nurse at the Trust with responsibility for quality and is an accomplished and very open speaker.
